Students Advance to AI Presidential Challenge After Completing Saturday STEM Program

After successfully completing our Saturday STEM Program, we guided two groups of students to participate in the AI Presidential Challenge.

During the program, students were introduced to fundamental artificial intelligence concepts and tools, gaining hands-on experience with modern AI technologies. They learned how AI systems work, explored real-world applications, and developed skills.

The Saturday STEM Program is a series of model-based, inquiry-driven learning experiences designed to provide engaging opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) for elementary and middle school students. The program offers K-8 students the opportunity to explore a major integrated STEM theme through hands-on activities, collaborative learning, and real-world problem solving over a five-week period. Each semester, the program is held during the Fall and Spring at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and is organized under the Center for Mathematics, Science, and Engineering Education (CMSEE).
